Activism

Every achievement that has helped to progress women’s rights has come from the courage, activism and determination of women fighting for their rights.

At nia, we take a rights-based approach and we see ourselves as just one group of women in a wider international movement of women over several decades past and several to come. For this reason we take part in a wide range of campaigns and events and we urge other women to do so too.

United our voices are stronger and we take courage and strength from each other. Have a look at Useful Links for information to get you up to speed with women’s rights. Have a look at our events page for activities, campaigns, petitions, demonstrations, court cases, marches, conferences and all sorts of opportunities for activism with us and with others in the women’s movement.
