Working Together for London’s Survivors of Sexual Violence and Abuse

Statement from nia

We are pleased to announce that from 1st October 2025, and for the next five years, Respond, Galop, SurvivorsUK, and the four Rape Crisis Centres, run by Rape Crisis South London, Women and Girls Network, Solace and nia are working, alongside MOPAC, as a new alliance to deliver the Mayor’s Pan-London Sexual Violence Support Service.

Using our 225 years of collective experience, and in consultation with survivors, we will offer a more consistent, accessible, and needs-led sexual violence service offer across all 32 London boroughs and the City of London.

In our first 18-months we will implement digital solutions which will improve referral pathways and help us to manage demand so we can ensure survivors have access to the same specialist service offer, wherever they live in London.

Our vision is for survivors to have more choice, connection, and voice in their unique recovery journey. Our Alliance will offer tailored and empowering interventions suitable for all stages of healing, from initial support and safeguarding, advocacy, therapy, peer support, holistic interventions and spaces for growth and activism.

We are grateful to the Mayor of London and the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime for guaranteeing existing funding levels for the next five years. This provides critical stability for survivors and our services so that we can innovate and fundraise to try and meet the growing demand for support.

During the transition phase individual services will continue to offer a range of services to survivors who have experienced sexual violence at any point in their lives.
