nia has been delivering services to women, girls and children who have been subjected to sexual and domestic violence and abuse, including prostitution, since 1975. The organisation has three main aims: to provide services for women, girls and children who have experienced men’s violence; contributing to ending male violence against women and girls, and to inform and influence policy and public awareness.
We are seeking to recruit to the following post:
Job Title: Team Leader, Exiting Prostitution Service

Hours: 35 hours per week (including evening and night-time)
Salary: £31,000 – £34,000 dependent on qualification & experience
This post is funded until June 2022 (with a possibility of extension). It is our policy to try to offer staff alternative posts in the organisation if funding for the post they are filling ends.
This post will support the overall running of the exiting prostitution service: that will include the Ascent Advice and Counselling partnership, which is a Pan London Violence Against Women and Girls advice service. The Anita project, which includes supporting women involved in indoor prostitution, survival sex and Romanian women. The Brent Advocacy Service, and the night-time outreach service.
The post holder will support the service manager in the ensuring a high-quality support and advocacy service to women exploited through prostitution in order to support women to exit. The post holder will also manage a case load.
We’re looking for a highly organised and self-motivated woman who is passionate about ending violence against women, girls and children. You’ll have a ‘can-do’ approach and demonstrable commitment to nia’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer.
